There is nothing accidental in the Holy City of Jerusalem, as well as in the Holy Language — biblical Hebrew, where every word and even letter reveals the secrets of the universe. Under the hand of the master of sacred and creative calligraphy Avraham Borshchevsky, these ancient letters "come to life" right before your eyes.
Avraham Borshevsky (b. 1970, USSR) is a renowned Israeli master scribe (sofer-STaM) and calligraphy artist.
He lives and works in Jerusalem and creates unique and personally designed works of art.
Complying with Halachic law, he creatively extends the Jewish ceremonial art tradition and has devoted himself to creating original parchment manuscripts based on sacred Hebrew Scriptures.
In 2004, Avraham Borshevsky scribed a unique kosher Mezuzah parchment recognized as a masterpiece of Hebrew sacred calligraphy. It has been documented by Guinness World Records™ as the world’s largest.
Artworks of Avraham Borshevsky on parchment are located in museums and private collections of dozens of countries around the world.
